Good Riddance

Friday I got fired.

Not from the boring day job I've been trying to get rid of. Of course not! But from the salon that was screwing me up the ass and around the corner. Good riddance should be my attitude right now but I can't help but feel completely overwhelmed with everything. I've been busting my ass just to keep my head on straight and nothing is working.

I hit Google hard today searching for other salons that are hiring for the apprenticeship program. It seems at the moment all my efforts are paying off. I will be submitting a couple of applications in today and tomorrow and I already have an interview scheduled. Hopefully something magnificent will come out of this situation and I will be able to pick myself up and get on my feet better than ever.

I want to help get Crystal's business rolling but it's difficult when I don't have any money, I need to get paid and right now that's not looking like a possibility if I go that route. I'm banking on the fact that my free time will go to helping her, if free time will exist after another job or two.

The universe works in mysterious ways. The optimistic point of view is that something much more fitting and substantial is coming along. What that is? I'm not quite sure yet. I'll let you know when I figure that part out.

Maybe my attitude is good riddance, that place was a shithole anyway.
