All I know is I woke up this morning with a thick coat of pollen on my car and my throat feels like I've been screaming all night... wait, maybe I was. ;)
Ninety two degrees is not a normal temperature on a spring day. Today is supposed to be even hotter. Guess whose office building has the heat on?! Oh, only mine of course. I've got fans blasting and I'm wearing a dress that I'm totally psyched about. I just put ice in my coffee and usually I would be complaining about all of these things except I really don't give a shit. It's fucking gorgeous outside.
While enjoying the weather on my parent's porch yesterday, taking a break from work, I found out a couple things. The stepdad I'm terribly afraid of bumping into is somewhere close to a bar I frequent. The worst part? He's an alcoholic. So the likelihood of him actually wandering in is pretty high. Hopefully he's learned his lessons from alcohol and wont get any smart ideas. If he has any contact with any of his victims he goes straight back to jail to serve the rest of his sentence.
His probation officer's number is programed into my phone and I'm not afraid to use it.
I'm not sure if I mentioned that he was diagnosed with colon cancer while in prison. Doesn't that just scream Karma to you?
