Healthcare Bill FTL!

Just for the record, I voted republican. Yeah yeah, Obama is great and all but really? I like to keep the money I work so hard for and if I ever want to be rich I better vote republican. I wasn't looking for a Robin Hood when I voted for a president. In all other aspects I am pretty liberal. Minus this health care bull shit. If it was free and mandatory I wouldn't be pissed off, but even at a lower price I don't think I should be forced to get insurance. Let's be real people the $940 billion for this healthcare plan is going to come out of your own pockets. Kind of like an incentive to stay poor because the more money you make the more they take.

In all honesty I would have voted for Hilary in an instant. Yes, I am a feminist. I'm pro choice and pro gay marriage, obviously. My car is decked out with an HRC equality sticker and a rainbow peace sign and I got it 2 days ago. If that doesn't scream liberal I don't know what does.

I really don't understand how people go insane crazy over Obama. Yes, he's our first black president and made history, but what can he really do for our country?

I'm going to stop now before everyone boycots my blog. Go ahead and join the discussion on 20SB to share your own opinion or comment on here.

HAPPY MONDAY!

I will not boycott I kinda agree with you. I am super liberal except for when it comes to my money. I work my ass off for it; if I wanna take care of other people with it I will. Please don't raise my taxes so I'm forced too...

No boycott here...
My independent ass without health insurance thinks that health insurance would be NICE, but so far I find it almost cheaper to not have health insurance. Granted I can't play rugby anymore... but damn... my bills sure are cheaper now.

I don't feel that I'm informed enough about the whole thing to take a stance. I know that on the surface, it seems like something I could get behind, because my sister makes about the same amount as I do, but doesn't have healthcare through her job, and has two kids, so she has to pay some independent company nearly $300 a month in case one of them gets sick.
